Be careful who you trust and enter into co ownerships with. The following attachment documents the forgery of my signature and the long process via the American Kennel Club (AKC) to attempt to make that person accountable for their actions. Please find attached document of forged AKC Dog Registration (462KB) and other AKC correspondence (160KB) in pdf format. Sadly the final message was that it’s very hard to hold people accountable for wrong doings.
It is very alarming to see your own signature forged on a legal document. The three green highlights on the “Dog Registration Application” are not my signature, but a forged attempt at my signature.
The explanation relayed to me on the AKC document dated January 23rd, 2007 was false. Melody Gault never was my “partner” any more than Stephen himself would have been. Melody co owned some dogs with me while I owned others alone and with other people. Melody never approached me to sign any documentation. It is very interesting to note that the dogs in question that I gave to Stephen Turner, retaining a co ownership on the dogs, were dogs that Melody had never been involved with, nor were they related to any of her dogs.
It is my personal view that Stephen forged the documents on the verbal recommendation of Melody and because of this Melody felt responsible and offered to “take the rap” for the forgery. Forensic evidence did not identify her as the one who forged my signature. In fact forensic examination could not identify who did sign the document. Maybe it was a neighbor or someone else. The application was however completed and submitted by Mr. Stephen Turner. Only he knows who forged my signature.
I offer this as advice to be careful who you trust.
